The Evening News 1916

Taking a cross section of papers in circulation in April of 1916 our newscasters will give you the news as it would have been, if there had been TV broadcasts on the 30th of April. Papers used include: The Kilkenny People, The Kerryman and the Freeman Journal as well as the Daily Express and the Evening Telegraph. Those of a sensitive disposition should expect sharp criticism of the Rebellion and its leaders. It should also be noted that newscasters are playing a role and that letters of complaint about their bias and unpatriotic sensibilities are unnecessary and will be ignored.
